Description

Hand forks are used for light weeding such as taking out annual and biennial weeds, removing debris like small-medium stones, root-balls, old plastic labels and leaves. They also help with keeping the soil aerated and creating a fine tilth prior to planting.

These forks are made from quality rejuvenated second hand ones.

It has been given a secure, new handle made from Our ‘Wood and Resin Range’. The wood is Fagus sylvatica ‘Atropurpurea’ (Copper Beech),  acquired by Nige from a friend of his that owns stables near Exeter, East Devon. The Resin is honey Coloured to compliment the colour of the wood which  I think was very successful!

It has been securely made to Our exacting standards, to be comfortable to use without having to strain your wrist or arm (Unless you try to do too much with it, like take out heavily embedded roots or heavy stone, which is fairly standard when you’re getting along fine but come across a massive dandelion root!)
